The New War After Operation Banyanun Marsus

International media, including the New York Times, admitted that Pakistan turned the tide of the war in its favor with a short but decisive action. While India’s conventional armed forces faced defeat in the open field, New Delhi immediately adopted a strategy of unbalanced response and once again started making the terrorist organizations active in Balochistan, especially the BLA and BLF, an instrument of hybrid warfare. It is being codenamed Doctrine of Distributed Denial in Indian policy circles.

According to intelligence reports, a new and dangerous wave of weapons is emerging in Balochistan and the Afghan border areas, behind which an organized and deep network of India’s intelligence agency RAW is active. According to Federation Intelligence File 112/25 released on May 7, 2025, RAW has established a secret ARC cell in the Chirag Compound area of Kabul, where drone parts and weapons are being brought in secret containers. According to a summary published in the Centurion Intelligence Review, Volume 29, this compound could become a hub for terrorist attacks in the near future. Similarly, on May 12, 2025, the SIGINT dossier Falcon Eye–III revealed that 46 consignments of Indian mini drone systems have reached the BLA and BLF through the border corridor of Nimroz to Chagai, with a range of 180-200 km per drone. These drones are equipped with advanced anti-jamming technology and are capable of dropping explosives on specific targets. According to reports👇

‏Analytical Note 17/2025 (Balochistan Desk) on May 15 made another serious revelation that Indian-made fiber-reinforced RPG launchers are being transferred through a barter system between Fitna al-Khawarij (ISIS Khorasan) and BLA in exchange for human smuggling routes in Kandahar. These reports prove that India is not only providing weapons to terrorist groups but has also given a new dimension to the hybrid war against Pakistan by using Afghan soil as a launch pad. Since all these documents are of “restructured” status, their full details have not been made public. However, Balochistan Inside has obtained important information from its sources. Their summary clearly exposes India’s aggressive proxy strategy.

After Operation Bunyan Marsus: India’s New Proxy Strategy

A Wide-Based Militia Network

RAW has formed a joint tactical consortium of BLA, BLF and ISIS-K under the Prospect One program. The goal: to simultaneously confuse Pakistani security forces deep along the western border.

Drone Warfare 2.0

Mini drones and UAV batteries with specific frequency hopping-encryption are being used for border surveillance and explosives. Costing $18,000 per unit, the Indian Ministry of Defense is landing them in Afghanistan under the guise of humanitarian aid drone parts.

Financial Network

Hawala chain from Karachi to Doha; Indian funds are being “laundered” through the trade of gold coins in Kabul and Herat. According to Federation Intelligence File 119, $6.7 million was transferred to BLA accounts in April 2025 alone.

After Operation Banyan Marsus, the activities
of terrorist groups in Balochistan have intensified and their technological capabilities have also increased with Indian assistance. During the QRF Siege operation of Frontier Corps in Kech and Turbat districts, a BLA bomber team was exposed, in which two attackers were killed. After this successful operation, a comprehensive combing and psychological warfare campaign named “Reaper Falcon” was launched, in which the local population is being taken into confidence through loudspeakers. On the other hand, the BLF tried to attack Pakistani contractors in Khuzdar, however, Pakistani intelligence took timely action and not only seized the drone footage of this attack, but the Southern Command immediately destroyed three terrorist hideouts in an operation called “Swift Arrow”.

Meanwhile, a new dangerous trend has been observed in the Nushki-Chagai belt, where test flights of explosives were conducted using small drones. These drones are being described as Indian-made. Pakistani security agencies have deployed electronic warfare units as a quick response, with the aim of jamming GPS and disabling the enemy’s drone network. All these incidents are clear evidence that a new war of technology and psychology has begun in Balochistan, not just on land, in which an effective and comprehensive response to the enemy has become the greatest need of the hour.

Afghanistan’s Role: A New Dimension of Facilitation

Taliban Caretaker Government Asserts Territorial Sovereignty, But Mullah Hafiz Bilal’s Network Is Undeclaredly Funded by India in Nimroz Province.

Armed Drones Reportedly Assembled at Zaranj Mega-Yard; Eyewitnesses Allege Indian Contractors Change Boards in the Dark of Night in the Name of “Indigenous Software Updates.”

According to the “RAW–Talos Memo” (fake) circulating in Kabul diplomatic circles, cargo was also to be transported via Nicobar Route for operational testing against Gwadar, but Pakistani coastal radar Seahawk-S has not yet detected any actual operation.

As the Foresight Center

analytical headline says

Balochistan is the last mile of South Asian stability.

If that last mile remains strong, India's proxy strategy will be a losing proposition. If it weakens, the wave of instability in the region could become a storm. Now the decision will be at the intersection of the speed of state institutions and public trust.
